Above: 1981 Pontiac Trans Am w T/A 5.0 4-speed drivetrain option. The Firebird Red Book lists this as one of 7,038 made and: "The Chevrolet 5.0 Liter V-8 was available as a delete option and only with a four-speed manual."

Above: Hard to see it here, but this is a relatively rare, from the factory, Chevrolet 305 CI 4-speed eqiupped 1981 T/A engine. The shaker hood scoop, and base assembly components are also unique to this engine option.
