Trans Am Tragedies

Tragedies of the Pontiac, Firebird and Trans Am realm.
Below is the text of what happened to this sweet '68 400 Firebird is from the owner - Greg Edgerton - in it's entirety. P. S. This one has a happy ending!
The tale begins..
I like your page! That crispy critter is a sad sight to behold. I had some friends send me a link to your page in an effort to "cheer me up" (in reality, they were busting my balls). I have a 1968 400 4 speed which I was in the shop for 3 years and 8 months. We did a total, frame off restoration and made this car as good as new. I got the car back from the shop late last July and enjoyed about 1200 miles on it before the November chills came and I put it in storage. I store my cars in a Quonset (spelling?) hut in Goffstown, NH, at a friends house.."
And what a sweet ride it is! - Er, Ah, WAS!
