Above: Warren Johnsons' LS/X Explode!!! This was the qualifying run in which Warrens' car engine exploded at the top end, filling his cockpit with oil smoke with his cars tires oil soaked skidding from the left lane 90 degrees into the right side retaining wall in front of Kurt's slowing car. Fortunately neither was injured and Warren was able to change out motors and patch the body up to run again in the weekend.Below: Pro Mods - '69 Daytona Charger and '67 Firebird - running in the lights and the gathering night sky.
