the Mecum Houston 2012
Inaugural Vehicle Auction of Muscle Cars and More!
The 2-day Houston Mecum 2012 Auction cell phone camera photos shown here were taken before the activity began each day; prior to the broadcasts and auctioning; of the vehicles by the TachRev.com webmaster. Note: Although the image quality is poor, they are included here for those interested in the behind-the-scenes activities of a Mecum Auction event; and for those who would like to volunteer at upcoming events. Enjoy.

Above: And here is another one of 'THE' iconic 1960's Muscle Cars: The 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV convertible w the Hideaway headlight option. Above: This was shown as Lot No. S172: Meaning that it was scheduled to cross the auction block on Saturday at 3:50pm. This 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV convertible was probably one of the Velocity Channel televised auction vehicles that the sellers paid a premium to be included in the broadcast. It has been featured in High Performance Pontiac magazine and others. Above: 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV 400 cubic inch engine with 370 advertised HP. Want A/C? Drop the top! Above: Pontiac Parchment "Pearl White" interiors like this one in this 1969 GTO always look fantastic. Think about how hard it is to keep anything white on a vehicle that clean; especially in a convertible that is exposed to the natural elements from time-to-time; even if it is just at shows. Note this one is equipped with Hurst Wheels.
