Below: I spotted this one today as I was traveling during my business day.

Nice to know that this Firebird is on the way to resurrection. The new owner and me only had a few brief moments of discussion during a stop at a busy freeway intersection, so I have no details. But I can tell you that this one is on it's way to REBIRTH! Please excuse the poor field of vision of the following pictures. They were taken while I was traveling (driving) at 55 to 70mph...steady now!!!

(ABOVE) This was my 1st vision of this 2nd Gen Fbird as I pulled up through heavy traffic into the intersection...and there she was!

Luckily the light turned red at the intersection to allow me to perform a lane change maneuver for a closer view (I did try to get a closer shot without my mirror in the way-but a clearer up-close view wasn't forthcoming).

There's a lot of sky in this shot due to the fact that I had to crop out my dash and windshield from my original picture (taken at speed).

Notice the 78 Y-88 Special Edition Trans Am 8 x 15 inch Snowflake wheels on this salvaged Firebird.

The image above shows the passenger side, and the most severe damage from the last drive that the former F-Bird owner piloted. Looks like they might have wished for the ultra rare - "Safety Ejection Seat Option"...

Once again, I want to thank this new owners' good hearted nature as I photograhed his newly purchased F-body. Good luck to him and his restoration. Nice to know that this is another one that is rising from the ashes!
