Above/Below: As always, Mr. John Force - aka: "Elvis" - was a crowd favorite and accommodated the fans requests for autographs between rounds. Note the "Driving Force" Notice of Filming on the back of the tractor-trailer rig. This was the first indication of production of (what we were later in the season to come to know as) the first Reality TV Drag Racing Show. It was broadcast on the A&E Network.

They call him "Mr. Force" after winning his 14th NHRA Championship!
